Summary

Finding Balance provides a multidisciplinary approach to falls prevention and provides practitioners, regardless of practice location or work setting, with resources and falls prevention tools. These resources are updated on an ongoing basis as new research, best practices and resources are available. The materials are free to download and select resources are free to order.

A wide variety of resources are available to increase awareness of seniors’ falls and to educate older adults on actions to prevent a fall.  Resources include client and campaign handouts, posters, PowerPoint™ presentations, and sample news articles. The program and campaign includes 3 key messages (Keep Active, Review Your Medication and Have Your Vision Checked).
